PARIS BLUES

Paris unfolds before my eyes and I drown in its sad gloom.

Some blues/jazz notes accompany my subway transports from the nearby -banlieu- to -a ville lumière-.

Faces, gestures, telling stories I will never know. The endless tiredness of poverty slipping on the concrete.

Quick shots, moments of silence, pauses in a reality that strips the soul alive.

Gazes lost in the void of the temporal space of subway commuting. Concrete, concrete, concrete, and then an oasis of nature."I have got dreams to remember" sings Otis Redding.

Paris Blues is a project on a working-class, tired, poor Paris, a ruthless Paris under the facade of la vie en rose.
