I come from a culture of sunshine, long days at the beach, endless swims.

The beach remains a space often depicted as a "heterotopia," a place that is different, unique, paradisiacal. But do the beaches of today and environmental respect go hand in hand? 

How long this carefree and consumeristic approach will be possible, when it is already no longer sustainable? Between memories and ecological awareness, I am building a collection of images, memories of a bygone era.
